| Allan works at a video store and has made friends with the giant Uma Thurman cardboard cut out that sits in the corner of the central aisle. Using his mobile phone camera, he takes photos of things that amuse him or uses annoying sounds as a ring tone. His laugh is one big “Ha!” which is only thing that comes out of his mouth that isn’t confusing to himself or to those around him. Allan likes to decorate his tall, lanky and awkward frame with an ensemble of ugg-boots and shorts. Once he borrowed a crazy 80s jacket to wear for theatre sports from a lady who looked like an old store mannequin. He forgot to give it back to her. Besides from working at the video store, Allan likes to party (he also goes to TAFE too, but he doesn’t let that get in way of what he finds important in life). He tells me that weekends are for partying and not for studying… that’s what week days are for. He is also known to stash the movies that he wants to hire inside the popcorn cupboard.
